Senior Vice President & CFO
In addition to overseeing the daily fiscal operations of Franklin Planning, Brett heads up our Financial Planning Team. He is directly involved with the preparation of all retirement and benefits analysis reporting as well as investment portfolio reviews related to risk, suitability, tax efficiency and past performance. Brett also assists Carol Schmidlin with trading and portfolio servicing aspects of clients’ managed account assets. Prior to joining Franklin Planning full time in 2010, Brett served 25 years with the New Jersey State Police, retiring at the rank of Detective Sergeant First Class. He is a 1984 graduate of Glassboro State College (currently Rowan University) with a degree in business administration and is a lifelong resident of Williamstown, New Jersey.
Vice President of Client Services
With 17 years experience in the industry, Natalie joined Franklin Planning in 2000. She maintains a NJ Life Insurance License, manages the firm’s day-to-day office operations and maintains strong relationships with our clients. Although she wears many hats, she always keeps the client as first priority. When not in the office, she loves to entertain with family & friends, travel and go to the beach. She is married to her husband Matt of 17 years and is the mother of 2 amazing children, Alyssa & Sonny.
Director of Office Operations
As the director of office operations, Jen’s main responsibility is completing and processing all the requirements for life and annuity applications. She also manages all office correspondence and mainains a NJ Life Insurance License. She brings much fun and laughter to the office. She makes our clients feel like family. Before joining the Franklin Planning family, Jennifer was employed with other financial companies, such as MetLife and MassMutual. In her spare time, she loves being with her husband, two sons and dog. She also enjoys hanging out with friends and family, bowling, reading, traveling, bike riding and the beach.
Client Relations/ Social Media/ Marketing Coordinator
Karen joined our FedSavvy team in May of 2015 and enjoys her role as client relations rep/social media & marketing coordinator. She has adapted well to her new role and enjoys interacting with clients and co-workers. She is responsible for posting timely blogs to the Franklin Planning and FedSavvy websites and social media platforms. She also coordinates, edits and contributes articles to both Franklin Planning and FedSavvy newsletters. Prior to joining FedSavvy, Karen enjoyed a career as a legal and health care administrator with The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Hospital. She is married with five sons and enjoys cooking, cheering on her sons’ sporting events and spending time with friends and family.
